MPAC Lunch: Making of the Totem Lake Connector Image Join the MPAC Committee for a presentation lunch in Bellevue! The Totem Lake Connector is a gateway bridge across the intersection of NE 124th St and Totem Lake Blvd, which is Kirkland’s busiest intersection. The new grade separated crossing provides users of the Cross Kirkland Corridor multiuse pathway (part of EastRail) with a direct grade separated crossing of the roadways. The gradual approaches of the bridge provide an all-ages ADA connection to the northern section of trail that was previously cutoff by the roadway. The City desired that the bridge become a landmark for the Totem Lake neighborhood. This presentation will discuss the design process and construction that took place to create the new landmark bridge. Click here for full details and to register.
