Four Part Class:  November 30, December 1, 7, & 8

The class is spread out over 4 days online to teach you new tips and techniques to complete your job correctly, safely, on time and on budget. Participants will receive the Participant Guide Book – a great for reference once in the field. The book reflects the specifics of the WA State geographic, trends, and requirements. It also includes two chapters to discuss federally funded project’s documentation processes and procedures and sustainable construction practices.   
  •   Includes a 536-page Inspector’s Guide Book
  •   Qualified for 1.6 CEU approved by APWA National and DOH for water certification
 

By attending this workshop, you will be better able to:

  • Analyze how agencies and contractors see the inspector’s role
  • Manage your projects better, realizing inspector’s role
  • Document your federally funded projects to ensure proper federal funds reimbursement to your agency
  • Identify how project management tools are used to prioritize, sequence and schedule tasks
  • List various methods to communicate with residents, businesses, the public and media
  • Apply current sustainable construction practices on your projects
  • Describe the general requirements for environmental management on a public works project site
  • Develop a project schedule using Critical Path Management
