APWA WA Chapter has 3 scholarships available. Applications open in March and are due June 17th. Scholarships will be awarded to students over the summer and announced to the Chapter membership at the Fall Conference. Download the application forms below.

Jack Pittis Memorial Scholarship Application

First Place: 4-Year Degree, $10,000

Runner Up: 4-Year Degree, $5,000

The Washington State Chapter of the American Public Works Association is offering two scholarships in honor of Jack Pittis. Jack was an active member of APWA, a past Chapter President, and a friend who is greatly missed. Jack’s legacy was one of leadership, commitment to his community, and dedication to his role as a public servant. Successful applicants must exhibit a similar devotion to career and community.

Higher Education Scholarship

2-Year Degree, $2,500

The Washington State Chapter of the American Public Works Association is offering a $2,500 scholarship to students in 2 year colleges or technical schools. These scholarships are directed to students majoring in a subject that will benefit the field of Public Works. The application process is open to students currently enrolled in two-year programs. Applicants must be enrolled in a college or school in the State of Washington. Students enrolled in an out-of-state school will not be eligible.
