This presentation will highlight successful Washington State 63/20 bond funded Progressive Design-Build projects, with a detailed discussion of project structures and 63-20 bond financing and development delivery.
63-20 Bonds linked with Progressive Design-Build has successfully delivered 30 municipal projects on the west coast, including 24 in Washington State. All these projects have been delivered on-or under-budget and on-or ahead-of-schedule. The project delivery model uses innovative contracting in combination with private sector, developer-led expertise while maintaining low-cost tax-exempt bond financing. It effectively reduces risk for the public entity, reduces construction costs and the construction timeline, and allows for private operations and maintenance options if desired by the public owner.
