Bio:

I’ve been actively involved with the APWA Washington Chapter since 2013 and have proudly served as Chair of the Membership Committee since 2022. In this role, I helped launch the highly successful First-Timers Breakfast at our conferences and supported new and prospective members in navigating APWA and getting involved in committees. Strengthening our professional community and making APWA more welcoming and accessible has been a committee priority. Professionally, I have a civil engineering degree from the University of Washington, where I focused my studies on wastewater but also cut my teeth on transportation through a WSDOT internship. Since then, I’ve gained 20+ years of experience in transportation design and project management in both agency work and consulting—and have found both to be highly fulfilling. I currently manage Perteet's Wenatchee office and our Central Washington design teams. Personally, I am a wife and a mom of three boys who are active and require most of my brain and heart space. I love gardening, hiking, biking, and cross-country skiing, and I make it my mission to spend less time indoors than outdoors—especially if the sun is shining. I advocate for public works both in my career and as a county resident who understands that we need a strong infrastructure backbone to support community growth and sustainability. I believe public works is the lifeblood of our communities, and I’m passionate about delivering improvements in the places where I live, work, and recreate.
