Short Description: The Capital Projects Manager plans, coordinates, and oversees the development and delivery of city-wide capital improvement projects from concept through completion. This position manages infrastructure and facility projects including roads, utilities, parks, public buildings, transportation systems, and other public works improvements. The Manager ensures projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with grant and loan requirements, public works biding and procurement standards, applicable laws, regulations, engineering standards, and all municipal policies.

Salary and Benefits Information: The Salary range is $9,996.15 – $12,757.58/Mth. DOQ and the City offers a generous benefit package including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, PTO, Deferred Comp. and Retirement.

Full Description:

This is a once in a lifetime career opportunity for the right individual! The City suffered a severe flood event in December of 2025, and is now beginning the recovery/rebuild phase. We have been awarded over $30 Million in FEMA Public Assistance and State Budget Allocation grant funds. You will be a key member of the team working on this recovery project, as well as other capital projects within the City. This position will be challenging, and a lot of work, and like with everything else we do here…we will try to have some fun along the way and not lose sight of a positive work life balance.
