Short Description: Thurston County Public Works is recruiting for a Residential Stormwater Inspector to join our dynamic, energetic, and innovative Water Resources team. The successful candidate will independently manage the Residential Stormwater Inspection Program. This program helps ensure the proper maintenance and operation of privately owned stormwater facilities throughout Thurston County. This position requires broad knowledge and experience in stormwater management systems, along with excellent communication, collaboration, and negotiation skills. The inspector will work closely with property owners, property management companies, homeowners’ associations, County departments, regulatory agencies, and members of the public.
