APWA Management and Public Administration Committee (MPAC) is sponsoring a walking tour of the WSDOT I-405/85th Interchange Project, located in Kirkland Washington. The tour will be led by the Steve Beadle (WSDOT Project Engineer), with discussions centering around the origins of the overall concept, the intended future operations, and challenges during construction.

Speaker Bio:
Steve Beadle WSDOT Project Engineer. 20+ years at WSDOT working on a mix of multimodal and roadway project including the Alaskan Way Viaduct Replacement Program, Washington State Ferry Projects, and serving as the WSDOT liaison for several Sound Transit projects. Currently working with the 405 Program to deliver Bus Rapid Transit to Kirkland.
Parking Information/PPE
Visitors will need to park at the nearby retail parking lots. Tour will can start at the project office and walk (5min) out to the site. No special PPE is required.
