This presentation will discuss research from the IIHS on speed management and pedestrian safety and will highlight how effective countermeasures can be implemented across the system to tackle these roadway safety issues. Hear a preview of The City of Bellevue’s planned collaboration with IIHS on two Safe Streets and Roads for All demonstration projects to improve pedestrian safety at intersections.
AAA Washington will host a reception/networking event with light refreshments (snacks/finger food) from 11am - 12pm, followed by the one hour presentation.
